Company HR Email ID: TCS, Infosys, Wipro & More
Searching for a "company HR email ID" usually ends with a list of addresses copied from a WhatsApp forward — half of them dead, the rest belonging to people who never hired for your role.
The truth about large employers is simpler: most of them do not publish one HR email ID at all. This page shows the official route into each company, and how to reach the recruiter who actually owns the role.
Why big companies do not have one HR email ID
- Volume. A company hiring thousands of people cannot run applications through one inbox. Hiring goes through an applicant tracking system.
- Recruiters are assigned by unit. The person hiring for Java is not the person hiring for sales. There is no single "HR" who reads everything.
- Role inboxes replace personal ones. Where a public address exists, it is usually a careers or recruitment inbox, not an individual's.
This is why a generic address either bounces or disappears into a queue — and why the official portal is usually the faster route for large firms.
Official route into the biggest IT companies
- TCS — TCS NextStep portal. Freshers and experienced hires both create a candidate profile there; recruiters shortlist from it.
- Infosys — Infosys Careers portal. Applications are tracked against your profile, not an email thread.
- Wipro — Wipro Careers portal, with separate fresher and lateral hiring tracks.
- Accenture — Accenture Careers (India). Role search plus a single candidate profile.
- Cognizant — Cognizant Careers. Applications go through the portal, not HR inboxes.
- Capgemini — Capgemini Careers (India), with a separate fresher hiring channel.
- HCLTech — HCLTech Careers portal for both freshers and experienced roles.
- Tech Mahindra — Tech Mahindra Careers portal.
Apply through the portal first. It creates the record the recruiter can actually act on — and it is the only route that works when you do not know anyone inside.
When emailing is better than the portal
Email wins in two cases: a startup or mid-size company where the recruiter is reachable, and a specific role where the recruiter published their address in the job post.
In both cases the rule is the same: email a person, not a guessed inbox. A named recruiter reads their own mail. A shared hr@ inbox is where every application in the country lands.
How to find the recruiter who owns the role
- Check the job post itself. Many posts include a recruiter name or an application address. That is an explicit invitation.
- Look at who posted the role. Recruiters who post publicly often list their function and company; their contact details are usually shared in the same post.
- Use the reference number. Mentioning the exact requisition ID in your subject line tells the recruiter you are not mass-mailing.
- Ask for a referral. An employee forwarding your resume internally beats any cold email to a large company.
What to write once you have the address

Frequently asked questions
What is the TCS HR email ID?
TCS does not publish a single HR email ID for applications. Fresher and experienced hiring both run through the TCS NextStep portal, where your profile and resume are stored against your candidate ID. Recruiters contact candidates through that profile.
Can I email a company's HR directly?
Yes, when a recruiter has published a contact address in a hiring context. A cold email to a guessed address usually bounces or reaches the wrong person.
Is a company HR email ID enough to get a job?
No. It gets your resume in front of a person instead of a queue. The resume and the role fit still decide the outcome.
Why do large companies not list an HR email?
Thousands of applications a day cannot run through one inbox. Hiring goes through an applicant tracking system and role-based recruiter accounts.
